 Dover Bay is Nanaimo's Largest High School. Dover Bay first opened its doors in 1992. In 1999 there were 1660 students registered with 18 portables to house the high numbers of students, however, currently we run at a student population around 1430 with only a few portables. Dover Bay has an extremely strong Academic Program as well as a powerful Sports Programs.  Dover Bay has acheived both Academic and Sport Provincial Awards. Arts and Drama, Wood Work and Automotive, Cooking and Sewing, Jazz and Concert Band, Computer Game Programming and Animation, Film and Television, German and Spanish, Mathematics and Science, English and Socials Studies, Physical Education and Outdoor Education: Dover Bay offers all of this and More!
